Back in 2009 I founded Harvard Alumni in Wine and Food, a Shared Interest Group (or SIG) within the Harvard Alumni Association. The goal was to connect current students who would like a career in the wine and food industries, with alumni who are already active in those professions.
HAWF is, of course, under new leadership by now and it has even been joined by a "sister SIG," Harvard Alumni for Agriculture. As my own career path has progressed, I occasionally encounter opportunities to fulfill the original goal of HAWF: to connect students and alumni over wine and food, and I'm very happy to share them with you here.
